"You want to make good and be the man with the ice cream yes?"

Everyone likes ice cream - people that deny it are lying to themselves. Well, there may be a small few that genuinely don't like it, but I'm sure it won't be long before they're whittled out of the gene pool.

Anyway, if you too want to 'make good' (which ofcourse everybody does) then here are a few words of encouragement.

Hmm what minor things are of note today...? Woke up this morning to be greeted by The Editors on CD:UK. They were playing their current single 'Munich'. I was most pleased as I have been listening to their album somewhat excessively (in the eyes of some people) recently. This was then followed by Coldplay playing 'A Message' off their current album 'X&Y', which was nice as this is the best track on the album in my opinion. I don't see why some people have a problem with Coldplay - think they just get hated on because they are popular. Though in fairness "People like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis; you can't trust people." - so who knows, perhaps they are inherently evil.

X-men 3Watched the new trailer for X-men 3 recently. It looks fantastic. Hopefully it will be even better than the last film, which was most excellent. The trailer certainly seems to indicate that it could be better as it looks action filled. I must admit that Beast looks a little questionable - but in fairness, that was to be expected. Atleast he looks better than Blanka did in the Street Fighter film. Although I guess that also was to be expected. It was no Mortal Kombat that's for sure - "your soul is mine!". Although having said that - Street Fighter did have Kylie. In any case, it's about 3 billion months till X-men 3 comes out - or atleast 6 months; so we'll have to be patient and hope that it is indeed awesome. I'm sure Hugh Jackman will give it his all - afterall, I doubt he wants to go back to 'Oklahoma!'. No one likes musicals - whether or not the "hills are alive with the sound of music".

People have a problem with Coldplay because they are a slow, boring, grey, midde-class Ford Mondeo washing, "I've bought a 40gig iPod and its just got Coldplay and Dido on it", middle of the road, not going anywhere, non-progressive, Mediocre with a capital M, wingeing, unemotional, "We're not saying anything new... no, we're not saying anything. period.", talentless, repetative, unimaginative, giant rolling ball of tedium I've ever come across.

They make Norah Jones look like happy hardcore, they're just so ****ing mundane. It's like pouring treacle down your ears. It's like masterbating with chopsticks. It's about as satisfying as receiving a tax-return form. You know when you're in a club and that fat guy you know who thinks you like him comes up to you and gives you a great big bear hug and you have your face squashed against his sweaty man-breasts? Well it's like that.

It's not that I don't like slow thoughtful music, it's just that they're not in the slightest bit thoughtfull. Or maybe they are, if you've just had a full frontal labotomy.

    Happy?

I sware Ian has X&Y on his HDD, hes spoken to me once about his interest in an old ipod mini, I don't think he would look out of place driving a Mondeo and the rest i'll leave up to you to think about

Can just picture Ian driving his beige mondeo whilst listening to his I-Pod mini playing through a tape adapter with Coldplay blaring out the windows and a look of utter hatred on his face.

Yeah. I'd be driving on the way to a suicide bombing on Bonos house.

I did have X&Y on my hard-drive, but since I stopped self-harming I deleted it.
