God of the Internet

During my aimless perusing of the internet I have discovered that something that proves that I am not a total failure in life - or atleast not when it comes to creating prototype websites for Vegetarian Food retailers. Confused? Well, allow me to explain...
During the 3rd year of University, Tom and I took a module entitled '
The Internet & E-Commerce'. We chose this module due to our belief that it would be easy for us to get high grades and boost out averages, given our profficiency at IT. Unfortunately, our cunning plan fell down slightly due to, what we refer to as, a 'clerical error'. Basically, the course was divided into two pieces of coursework (there were no exams). The ratio of the module's overall grade was divided 40:60 between the two peices of coursework - ie. The first piece of coursework (an Executive Summary) was worth 40% of the module and the second piece (a prototype website) was worth 60%. Malhereusement, due to the aforementioned clerical error, Tom and I missed the first piece of coursework out completely. This then meant that we would have to get atleast 67% for the website just to pass the module. As you can imagine this resulted in a fair amount of panic as failing the module would result in us not getting Honours degrees - which would've been quite a dilemma. Not that being able to put Economics Bsc
Hons on my CV has helped me fulfil my ambitions particularly, but it was the principle of the matter and I didn't need to cripple my chances in life any more than I had already done. Fortunately however, due to Tom and I being most king-like we were able to create awesome websites (relative to the efforts that Business Studies students could muster anyway) and save our worthless hides - this mainly took the form of leaving the coursework till the last minute (as per always) and then spending 18 hours straight on
Frontpage creating something special.
Anyway, that is all water under the bridge. To bring me back to my earlier point - I was looking at the website for the Internet & E-Commerce module and discovered that in the section for past examples of student's work, mine was included as the example of an excellent piece of coursework.
If you go
here to the list of example pieces,
my website is listed as 'Excellent 1'. I can now die happy.
yeah we were kings in those days..
Sí. Éramos reyes. Ahora somos mendigos. Debemos encontrar las coronas nuevas.
Maaate.... So many thoughts about that last blog. firstly how did u find out about them using ure website. Secondly, would the lacking of an Hons make that much of a difference to what ure currently doing?! Thirdly, where do I get a pair of those rose tinited specticals?
Hmm perhaps I didn't steep this last post in quite enough sarcasm, because I don't think the flavour is really coming through. It's possible I over-did the garlic butter.
Rose tinted glasses are available from many fine retailers - Ralph Lauren has a particularly nice pair. They can be found on http://www.bluefly.com/ and are at the modest price of $79.99 though I'm afraid I don't know if they ship internationally.
Excellent. An institute of higher education is using comic sans to advise people to construct websites in Frontpage.
Maybe they have holocaust deniers running the history degrees and creationists running the Biology department?
Heh I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
